Betsy Peterson CPA is owned and operated by Dr. Betsy Peterson of Yuba City. Betsy is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
Betsy Peterson CPA is a full-service CPA firm, providing bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. Betsy Peterson CPA specializes in Small Businesses, but also provides tax service to individuals.
Our Team
Betsy
Betsy Peterson is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) living in Yuba City. Betsy began her academics at Yuba College. She transferred to California State University - Sacramento, from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accountancy. Betsy went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from National University with a Master's in Public Administration and a Specialization in Public Finance. Betsy recently achieved a new milestone when she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, from Walden University.
Betsy is a member of the Yuba Sutter Chamber of Commerce.
Betsy has extensive experience in accounting, including the following work history:
- Accountant for the County of Sutter Department of Public Works
- Accountant Specialist State of California Employment Development Department (EDD)
- Auditor State of California Board of Equalization (BOE)
- Adjunct Professor, Yuba College
- Accountant, Auditor, & Tax Preparer for a local accounting firm prior to starting private practice
Dan
Daniel Peterson works parttime at Betsy Peterson CPA preparing taxes and helping serve the needs of our clients. Daniel recently completed income tax training equivalent to a California Certified Tax Preparer. Dan has also trained directly under Betsy and is knowledgable in Sales Tax, Payroll, and Bookkeeping.
Krystle
Krystle Koivisto is the Social Media Manager at Betsy Peterson, CPA. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Science from Cal State San Bernardino in 2016. Krystle went on to receive a graduate degree in History from Cal Poly Pomona in 2018. She has two children, son Everest and daughter Harper.
